About Josh

Josh is a midwesterner. He was raised in a household that valued resourcefulness, integrity, reliability, and altruism. Josh is a creative problem solver and is motivated by helping the people around him succeed and improve.

His goal is to own and run a business that contributes meaningfully to its community and focuses on the well-being of its stakeholders. Josh has decades of experience in business and has worked with a wide range of individuals and partners throughout his career.

Josh previously led a team at H&R Block that oversaw the development and launch of a new financial services platform which supported the company’s customers in their efforts to better manage their finances. Before H&R Block, Josh spent 6 years at PayPal where he was responsible for launching small business solutions that helped meet the primary need for millions of PayPal’s customers - getting faster access to money from their sales. Josh began his career working in financial services, where he worked closely with a variety of clients to help meet their financing needs.

Josh has an MBA from UC Berkeley-Haas. He graduated from Colgate University where he majored in Economics. He lives in Kansas City, MO with his wife, Janney. His three young children are his greatest achievements in life. He enjoys spending quality time with family, being outside, as well as playing cards and board games. He has attempted several DIY home projects that have (thus far) not broken any significant part of his home.
